"Paint my cat" thread

Hi all!

How about a cat painting thread, ( or other pets for that matter? ) Here's a couple of pictures I managed to get of Tycho if anyone's stuck for inspiration. He's not a -terribly- photo-friendly cat really and tends to look a bit miffed whenever anyone takes out a camera

today i had a dream of a cat in a cup, with some paper inside i think it was a newspaper and it just looked like your cat... but smaller, the first image reminded me of that maybe i'll try to draw your cat in a normal pic and in a cup...(and no i wasn't going to drink it or anything it was just too cute inside, and i was taking care of it for a friend of mine...yup all of that in a dream )

I liked the challenge of painting Tycho. I spent a lot of the day on it, with long breaks in between,just to eat..get up..make a cuppa, go for a we...ll you get the point.
anyway, ive had enough, for now. will try add some more detail tomorrow (its 1:58am my time)

so for now, i've just posted some work in progress pics.
i was thinking of making a cat character in more of a comic book style (and less detailed) but after readiing your cat thread i've given the style (or costume) to Tycho...for now
