Amazing as always!
Amazing indeed. Looks like the Spanish Main or mainly Spanish. Was this influenced by your trip to Portugal?

Hi D Akey, good to hear from you!. Yes I think exploring the castle St. Jorge at the top of the biggestest hill in Lisbon. My previous experiences with castles was limited to Walt Disney. So I was pleasantly surprised at this castle , it fit in a very organic way with the hillside and has an outer wall then the inner fortress where the royals lived and carried on. It is a VERY large space overall.and in the distance ( maybe a mile ) the bay with hints of ocean and fresh breezes. But this work was not an intentional derivative of that experience but came out of the subconscious. My intention was really quite simple to use flat planes of rippling color to introduce strong pattern and movement and in that process contain a more organic area of color/form.
Thanks Hildee nice to hear from you again.
