Can rulers be locked at their pivot points?

Is there a way to lock the the ruler (stencil) so it pivots on a fixed point?
I use rulers (and their pivot pins) to set vanishing points, but sometimes I accidentally move them off course- displacing them instead of rotating them, which moves the pivot point (relative to the canvas).

There isn't a lock for them, but going to Edit > Undo should replace the ruler (or the pin, if it were moved) to it's last position.

Hitting undo would still undo the last action, so the last ruler to have been moved would be moved back.

Do you mean like grid paper? There's a stencil called "Square" in the "Grids" category of the stencils panel in ArtRage Studio Pro. Not sure if it's there in the other versions though.

I've actually put in a suggestion in the past to have something like this added:

Slotted (Perspective) Ruler

Don't know if there's anything in the works regarding this however.

thanks someonesane should have know that, is just when frameing Violin boy had 6/7 ruler's on the go when moving 1 they all seem to shake like rattalsnakes or was that me just being clumsy as for the grid i'll be moving into Pro shortly ok
