I admit I tried this challenge once on a different image, and I thought it was cr*p, and so chucked it about 15 minutes in and labeled it a "warm up." Given that, I started over and this took about 35 minutes. I have a presaved doc with canvas size, an imported Texture Overlay and Layer Textures all set up-- a la Roy Blumenthal's method. That saves some time too.

This was a great deal of fun, and the experimentation with various media as well as playing with Blend Modes, Duplicating Layers, changing transparency, and moving them around came right out of the thread "What makes digital art digital art?" That was a great conversation.

I don't know if I ever added this, but this was a one word prompt with a 30 minute timer from some time ago... I should probably do some fresh work, but I have a lot of unfinished works that need attention.

I am doing this one again to cheer up my friend who has been sick long time just now. Very quickie one as I was doing another painting but want to send my friend a happy one.
