Here are some abstract experiments made with felt dabs on one layer.
It really pays to experiment with all of the settings. With a dry felt and a very slight or low luminance colour you can get a colour wash.
With a high pressure and high softness setting the dabs vary in size according to the pressure of your dabs. Try a 500% felt with 100% pressure and 100% softness.
