Winter Ships

Hi, here is a 75% Artrage and 25%Photoshop job.
I've use Photoshop to burn, dodge and color-correct some parts, very useful because I'm not very good to get the firt time the proper color. I've start with a photo reference of winter, It gave this, lololol !
Close to 4hours of work.

Hahah. No. . . trails are a great graphic device, and you've done them really well. I also love the overall color scheme. Reminds me a little of the colors around Cloud City from one of the Star Wars.

My favorite use of smoke in illustrations was always from the boxes of model kits of ships that trailed it against all kinds of great skies. I though as a kid that was the coolest look, and I still do. You got me.

Sort of increases the longing to be there in such a visually lavish environment.

Hi daprato-art, really enjoyed your work. the picture reminded me of 'Flash Gordons' space craft, I suppose it's the great smoke trails you've achieved.

If your too young to remember Flash Gordon, I apologize. :lol:
