Forgot about Layering... Saved it so I went back and did another layer to get me out of the .... Mess.Finished the background I'm Blurring it anyway, and making it darker... The pallette knife is great for tidying up rough edges by the way.......Here it is Two Versions... One on smooth paper.. the other on Fashmirs Burlap Finish... Feedback on that would be nice.... Jack.

Wow. I'm glad you didn't abandon this. Well worth another layer. He is down right menacing now. Those pistols are amazing Jack and his eyes lock right on to mine. I tend to like the one with the texture but the more smooth one is good too. Well done mate. Very inspiring. I must return to my blackbeard soon. I've been working on a few other projects and haven't cycled it back in yet.
    Be well,

I like this one a lot.But I have to say there is somewhat of a 3D feel- problem.
The hands are sharp outlined, and the body get's a little blur, great, it add's to the 3D feel, but then the pistols in the belt are sharp edged again. this gives a confusing feeling.

Maybe sharpen the clothes a bit ? Or unsharpen the pistols ?

Just thinking, I like the painting as is, I jsut want to help you level up.
Just say: "Rage It", because we already know it's art.
