I don't really see myself as a master.... :lol: I learned most(if not all) of my skills from studying the wonderful works of art posted on this forum and the tutorials that some of the artists have posted here....

Love the choice of canvas, it's a more unusual choice from the paintings I've seen here. Fantastic job! What are your general brush settings to get such a matte look?

Thank You Destruct007..I used Fashmir's burlap grain for this one.
Can't quite remember what brush settings I used but looking at it...I would say for the flowers and the grass I probably used about 20% loading and 50% pressure with a thin brush. I will have to dig the original artrage file out of my archives and check :lol:

Did the background, the same way I do my skies..see my tutorial in tips and tricks :wink:

Beautiful!!! I am so so glad this one hasn't slipped by unnoticed Bumble. I love the way you contrast the grass and the sky, and then connect them both via the flower...

I have just visited your gallery album and found several other beautiful paintings there that I had never seen before. I wish all of them were there and none were missing.

Beautiful! I love how you did the flowers. And that sky is the perfect shade of blue-gray that suggests gathering rainclouds.. the flowers may soon get what they are waiting for!
