Eraser... another one some difficulties

I dont understand the eraser tool, I am used to other software but in this one the eraser is like "strange"

I mean with the oval tool where I see the eraser I dont see clear what area will be erase

I printed the manual but dont know where to look for it

If you are using ArtRage Studio / Studio Pro you can find information on the eraser on page 55 'Eraser' under the section 'The Tools'. This explains how the settings work.
