ALexandra mentioned that she wanted to try and paint water this year. I promised I would do a WIP on the techniques I use to achieve it.
I start off picking a sky color for the canvas. Then using the ruler, create a straight horizon line. This can be placed above or below the center of the canvas and not in the center. Once you establish your horizon line you will use paint roller at around 100%, using the pick color tool just pick up the sky color. Turn on metallic effect on paint to 52-57%. Pick you paint roller and using the shift right click method try to get a straight line
from left to right. Begin on the left and go off the canvas from left to right. Keep the paint roller underneath the ruler. You can do this over and over until you get the feel you want..............
