It looks like we posted at just about the same time there, lol.

I'm not sure what you mean by real time vs imitating.

When I say "real time" I mean that the shine on the marbles (or the bananas I just posted) happens the moment you place the sticker on the canvas (so you're not drawing the highlights, AR's 3D light rendering engine is). This means, if you were to put the marble on the canvas, and then use the Transformation tool to select and rotate it, the glossy shine would remain in the upper left, because that's where Artrages light is shining from.
