You can actually get a retina resolution painting in ArtRage on iPad 2, the limit is set high enough. The new iPad will probably be slightly faster painting at that resolution, but until we have hardware here and can do some testing and optimising we don't know what the difference will be. As for interface resolution... Watch this space!

I also have the Ipad2 and the photo of the flower on 3 does look amazing, so far all I used it for is texting when I was away and watching utube. Bought my DD a 3 and will see the comparison when she receives it

It arrived!!!! I haven't don't much playing, took a quick look at a close up of a drawing....awesome! Took a Pic....awesome......did some voice dictation.....awesome. Does not disappoint is an understatement! However, upon reinstalling Artrage, I did lose most of my gallery, which may well be retrievable, I just don't know how yet, any thoughts? They are all in Photostream, but I would not be able to work on them or finish unfinished ones right?

Did you do a backup first from your ipad 2 and then a restore to the the new one, I had to restore twice for everything to show.

Wouldn't your paintings still be on your computer in the iTunes app? Under ArtRage?
