Downtown Smithville

The fictitious Smithville.
I grabbed a piece of Printer Paper as I often do when messing around with Watercolor for I do not want to practice on good paper and then painted this with my Prang super cheap colors. Then I enhanced it with Water based Oil Pastels and scanned it into AR and enhanced it even farther and here it is.

Neal... really nice.. I like the watery feel from the original watercolors but the enhanced saturation and bits of texturing really add to a more complete painting. pretty darn cool effect.

Love this. I really like the near natural lighting with the almost cartoon buildings - it's a very good mix.
