Alsaise Winter Snow (Before & After)

This was originally done as a window view, looking thru the village, and up the mountain - in Spring. As I reviewed a call for entries in a Christmas Card contest, it occurred to me that with a bit of retouching, this would be a great winter scene. Orig size is appx 12x15. Impressionism. I just added snow and some frost effects to a new layer.

Super paintings Skylar! I would like to see the edges of the frost softened in most places, just the edge and not all edges leave a few hard. I also think you should let the church show through a bit more (but all the way) since its a background point of interest. A very cool painting!

I like the second one the most because of the warm and cozy feeling it gives me.
    Well done.
