Here's a new lead: the problem isn't with the Wacom driver, but with the EETI PCAP touch screen driver. You might want to get in touch with those guys to update their driver to the latest standards.

I hope they actually deliver. If not, seems like we'll have yet another checkbox in AR.

Could you drop me an email (matt@ambientdesign.com) with any details you have on what's happening with that driver? We'll pass it on to the people we're talking to, but I'll need to ask a few (tedious!) questions to make sure I understand exactly what behaviour you're seeing.

I got the same problem. The new drivers just don't work well with ArtRage on the EP-121 (I lose the multi-finger control for rotating the page and so on... all the same symptoms that have been described in this thread). Is there a solution to the problem yet?

It doesn't sound like their latest drivers have resolved the problem from what you say.

If ArtRage is set to use the Realtime Stylus system and has Multitouch gestures turned on then it should work correctly with any system that properly implements the MS standard for touch input. We have previously been in touch with various hardware vendors regarding this and we expect driver adjustments at some point that will resolve the issue. It may also pay to make sure that you are using the official drivers, and not drivers downloaded from Wacom.

We are looking at potential ways to help resolve these problems by changing our tablet handling to catch potential bad data, but unfortunately there's no guarantee that we can work around the problem.

Same problems on new Lenovo X220T

    Hi MattRage, Hi all,

Any new information on this problem??

I have the same problems described here.

I've tried every combination of driver and found no solution to getting both Pressure and Gesture working in Artrage.
    I'm using the trial version.

So for now I'm using the latest Lenovo drivers that have a lenovo wacom ISD driver in them.
I have pressure working very nicely for evertything I use and am just hoping to get gesture working soon in Artrage.

Matt can I email you my problem and Lenovo information?
I can put all the driver versions and also a screen shot of the Device manager HID list.
The HID list looks weird to me with lots of things.

If I uninstall the ISD and the 2 main drivers most HID things disapear.
Then after reboot lots are back.
Hard to figure out what they are.

I did set the power off to save battery to unchecked on the HID wacom items.

    Thanks much,

    -michael

If you email the details to support@artrage.com we can take a look and talk to Lenovo. We don't have one of the machines available at the moment but we might be able to get one shipped to us for testing so that we can take a look at the problem.
