Hi Lander,
That will be a different situation than the problem caused by the latest ASUS EP121 driver, but this may help.
From another user who was in contact with us a while ago:
'I was able to get the pressure sensitivity on my Lenovo X220 Tablet working in ArtRage by following steps at the end of this thread:
http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/X-Series...ed/td-p/455499
I uninstalled the 'ISD Tablet' driver that came with the system (in Programs and Features), then allowed the Lenovo update utility to reinstall it.'

If you find that doesn't help, please feel free to email me directly at support@artrage.com and I'll be happy to troubleshoot it further with you. If you email me, please include:
1/ Tablet driver version installed if known
2/ Exact version of ArtRage ( e.g. 3.5.1 )
3/ Installed Operating system.
4/ What settings are enabled / disabled in the Edit -> ArtRage Preferences -> Input panel.

Worked like a charm Dave- thank you!

Hi guys been testing this one out on my ep121
This issue is definitely a wacom one, and is specifically caused by the ISD_DualTouch installs. I've tried both the Wacom ISD_DualTouch_V7.0.2-21 from Asus as well as the Wacom ISD_DualTouch_V701-8 from Wacom and both will cause the issue.
You can have both touch gesture and pen pressure working in Artrage by removing this driver. Unfortunately, this also removes the Pen and Touch Properties control panel which means you no longer have a way of calibrating the digitizer to the monitor. Without the ability to calibrate, the cursor will be off by around 6 pixels from the tip of the digitizer as you move it towards the edges of the screen.
So for now i've got the (Asus) Wacom ISD_DualTouch_V7.0.2-21 installed with all options under 'Input Device' in Artrage checked to ON. This gives me pressure sensitivity (and the ability to calibrate the device) but not gesture which i'll do without until wacom write a decent driver. I'll just use the Canvas Positioner (Hockey Puck) within Artrage til then.
EDIT: with this driver installed i have pen pressure in Artrage, Sketchbook Pro, Corel Sketch Pad, Painter and Microsoft Design Photoshop cs5 (32 bit version) but not in Photoshop cs5 (64 bit version).

Check this out. I think it could be it. control panel-pen and touch-touch-enable multi-touch gestures and inking. Is it good now?
EDIT: I forgot i roll-back my drivers to default one :\

I have the same problem with the Lenovo X220 Tablet. (which is an amazing laptop for ArtRage 3.5.1 BTW!)
If I uninstall the lenovo drivers and just use the one windows installs after a reboot the multitouch gestures work as does pressure sensistivity.
If I use the latest lenovo drivers 7.0.2-19 or the older ones from Wacom (7.0.1 I think) I can't have multitouch and pressure sensitivity at the same time. if I turn off wintab I lose pressure but I can zoom/rotate/pan using two fingers.
if I turn on wintab I only get the zoom function - but it's not the smooth zoom you get when the multitouch is working properly. It's some kind of simple emulation. With wintab on pressure works properly
To make things worse to get pressure sensitivity in GIMP (and inkscape) I have to have the 7.0.2 drivers. So I can't have the GIMP and ArtRage working simultaneously. Also the 7.0.2 drivers calibrate more accurately and are much more reliable.
I hope you can figure this out. looks like the ASUS and X220 tablet problem is the same thing from the symptoms people are describing.
We are in touch with the hardware vendors currently and they are looking in to their drivers. Unfortunately this isn't something that relates to ArtRage specifically, we support the MS standards for pressure/stylus/touch input (we worked with the MS team on our implementation) and it appears that some hardware drivers have in recent updates experienced problems working with that standard. Other apps that use older standards may not experience the problem, which could be why you see differing behaviour.
We should have some more information soon and we will let you know if the hardware vendors suggest any solutions that you could use.

Thanks for your reply.
If you need any testing done on my end I'm happy to help.
Also if it will help I could open a ticket with Lenovo about it.
Shall I do that?

The first thing I tried on my X220 was ArtRage SP3.5 and it was amazing.
It's so cool moving the canvas under my hand with my fingers and drawing with the stylus. I'm really looking forward to the hardware vendor fixing their driver so I can get the more reliable new version, and have ArtRage work properly.
Hi there, any news on the issue? I really want to keep using ArtRage, but I find it difficult without my beloved multitouch gestures...
We've just posted an update here: ( see the last post on the thread )
