I think in a chair in a slightly darkened room. That should sufficiently scare the crap out of anyone with a heartbeat.
Maybe that is only because clowns scare the heck out of me.
Sinister looking ones do so even more.
Great job on the artwork. well done! Your attention to details shows.
Do you read Stephen King?
Ever seen the movie Spawn made in 1997 with John Leguizamo as the clown?
Hi! Actually, I figured on just having the head floating in front of something, like dirty/bloody color splotches-an evil carnival atmosphere.
Thanks for the kind words! I actually need to do a lot of work on the head itself. I need to draw a more natural-looking Elizabethan collar and the whole thing needs more detail. I have a bad habit of working outward from the eyes instead of getting a handle on the overall composition first.
I've read It (interesting in parts but flawed) and I saw Spawn (meh), but my real inspiration for this is Mr Bungle's self-titled first album.![]()
Coming along. A few AR sticker brushes came in handy.
Getting better, hopefully.
Oooo I like that background! Very suitable colours for something spooky!
