    Estylo

In the ongoing Saga of the search for perfect styli....I have received my Estylo and I have to say that I quite like it. HOWEVER, it is getting a ton of bad press on the kick-starter site. People are saying it doesn't work at all, piece of junk, filing complaints , asking for refunds etc. So I was real leery about how it was going to work or not work. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it work fine without skipping, it is so light, its a nice change from the heavier Jot. I am trying to take a video of it, but having no luck. I hate to recommend something that so many people are unhappy with, but for me it is working really well. I think it was designed more for drawing than note taking, except for signing my name on pics I haven't done much of that. The finish is flat,, as opposed to the glossy look on the home page, and I was thinking about giving it a clear coat, but thought better of it. It must have something in the finish/paint to make it conductive (sorry if thats the wrong word) to the touch screen so I was afraid of compromising that. If I get a successful video, I will post a link.

Hiya Margie... Nope... My SENSU KickStarter hasn't arrived yet. Glad to hear that experience with the eStylo is working out. Looked at the design of it again. And it looks great. Much better than the original alpha release.

I have been using an Adonit stylus for about three weeks. It has a transparent tip so that you can see exactly what you're drawing and has transformed what I can achieve with Artrage and other similar apps.

I love my Adonit Jot. There are a number of posts in this thread with tips on how to improve performance if you start noticing skipping issues. But they are quick, easy and cheap fixes.

I have 3 stylii, the afforementioned Jot Pro, the somewhat standard "best allrounder" Wacom Bamboo and my favorite for Artrage: Monet by Joy Factory. Monet has perfect balance and length for painting, I wish it has the 6mm tip like the Bamboo, not 8mm. But I love it anyway.
