It just occurred to me, Mr Ploos, are you able to sit at all beside the cooker and do your 'earth work? Is all that standing good for the legs? When I was painting at a stand up table, owing to the large size I was working, I had a tall stool. I did both - stood and sat depending on how I felt. Don't recall if standing was a big deal back then. But if you choose to stand a lot, then you want for a bit of carpet or soft flooring to stand on.
Either that or have another household appliance installed so you can spread out.
How are the legs now anyway? Hope you're well.
Another thought about art supplies and your cooker -- in a pinch to keep the cost of art supplies down, you could always burn your roast and use it for charcoal. I've done the former, but didn't have the wit at the time to put it to an alternate, artistic use. You seem a right smart lad. I expect you could even mix your own paints.
Bartender, fix me a moon river. . .in a TIFFANY GLASS!!!!!!!
