    Cezanne's Apples

    Hi Everyone, sorry I have not been around to comment on all the wonderful paintings, yard time is keeping me busy

    I'm still trying for a more painterly look and here's my attempt at Cezanne's apples with the oil brush

    Your "attempt" turned out quite nicely! Keep on attempting!

    You've got Cezanne's colors right, the apples and other shapes work well, and I like the way the canvas texture shows here, too. Good job!

    I see some influence of Cezanne, but this Stand On Its Own. Lovely!
    Jean - I saw this at WC, and would've commented there, but I don't comment in Painters Alley, anymore. Hope this will do.
