If Art Rage is nothing more then a painting package then get rid of the Text, Stickers and 8BF reader tools then.

When adding tools and features we try to maintain a balance between our primary focus on natural painting tools and adding tools and utilities that are specifically relevant to painting. While we don't plan to add specific drafting/vector tools at this point, we may add features that support more technical work in the future.
The bottom line though is that whatever we add we will be endeavouring to make it fit with the application model and avoid cluttering things up.

Yes. 'to make it fit with the application model' means also fit in it's price range. It's worth to keep this in mind, I think...
Make it 64 bit - so larger images are supported and program runs quicker
Keep it focused on natural media. Avoid feature bloat best left to photoshop, illustrator, and gimp
Thanks for the suggestions. While 64 bit support wouldn't make ArtRage quicker, it would allow support for more memory therefore larger paintings.
ArtRage Studio and Studio Pro 3.5 have multiprocessor support which does make them considerably faster on systems with multiple cores, so for anyone running an older version of Studio or Studio Pro, I'd recommend downloading the latest version from the Member Area.

Though I haven't tried it yet, Multiprocessor support is a fantastic improvement. Good job.
While still with 2.5, I had been thinking that multi-threading and 64 bit would be the triggers for me to upgrade to Studio 3 Pro. While 64 bit is still to come, I see you now have scripting / drawing playback. That is really cool.
Congrats on these improvements!
Is the demo version of 3 Studio Pro also multi-threaded to let us see the difference in speed on a dual or quad core PC? I think there is a simple way to limit an app to a single CPU so you see a real demonstration of the value of multithreading for a given PC. Hmmm... this could be the subject of a pretty cool youtube demo....
I think just simply adding vector capabilities to the existing ink tool would make a huge impact. Option to add a vector layer. Ability to grab curves, basically what Paint Tool SAI has in similar areas.
Nothing is easy to the unwilling.
