Gorgeous. The sense of depth is perfect. The river takes us there ... The colors, those greens, wow, very beautiful. This was my comment in the final image. Now, looking at the development of the technique used by Robert, it's as if we were at his side, looking over his shoulder. Brilliant.

Thank you all very much. This image is still the wallpaper on my "old" notebook. The lesson I took away from this endeavor is to not lock yourself into a hard and fast idea of how the image has to end up being. It originally was supposed to be a desert or high sierra scene but I didn't fight with where is seemed to be wanting to lead me.
