Auto-Smoothing Pencil Bug

Okay, if I draw a curved line, y'know, a quick curve, it ends up giving me a squiggly 'G' at the start of it. It's annoying when I'm writing and stuff too.
I've got a picture.
Anybody know why it's doing this?
P.S. Sometimes it works, as shown in the picture, but 9.9/10 times, it doesn't.

I suggest playing around with the smoothing settings a bit, and also make sure your tablet settings are somewhere near the middle for sensitivity.

Anything around 50% smoothing is good, if you go over that i've found i get unexpected results.

So muck around a bit, try starting with the presets and see if it stills happens, i have no other idea why it would happen.

I checked my tablet options, the sensitivity is fine.
I tried smoothness 50%, but it still happens.

Have you tried using the presets available, select the tool and then select the presets pod and choose one

Try changing the 'precise tablet mode' setting in the ArtRage preferences panel.
Some Tablet drivers have problems synchronizing the mouse events with the tablet packet events, which can cause a discontinuity at the start or end of a stroke. With the precise tablet mode we use a different means of determining the absolute coordinates of the stylus, and it can fix the problem.
