Problems with Wacom drawing tablet

I just bought a bamboo touch medium and everytime is fine except one thing.

When i'm using the pen on my tablet on an online drawing board when i touch down my pen it freezes for half a second EVERY time i touch down (for example Iscribble and drawball), making it practically impossible to sketch fluently.

It doesn't do this on photoshop or Opencanvas.

Any ideas whats causing this?

Try this and see if it helps before the administrators get to it with other possible suggestions. I'm sure they'll have more definitive solutions if this doesn't help.

1/ go edit/artrage preferences
2/ select input divices
3/ under tablet options: try different on/off combinations of "use ink services" and "precise tablet" settings.
4/ close and reopen AR with each combination you try.

Give this a shot and see if it makes a difference.

Can you let me know which version of ArtRage you are using, including whether it's 2.5, Studio, Studio Pro, and what the version number is if it's Studio or Studio Pro.

Perhaps you have entered the twilight zone?
This forum, and especially the technical section of this forum, is primarily frequented and used by users of the digital paint program "ArtRage". Select the home page for this website and you will learn all about it. Frequent the "Gallery" link at the top and you will see thousands of "paintings" created by users of the program.

Don't know if this helps. Sometimes when people enter the twilight zone, they never get out.

Have you tried to download the latest drivers for your tablet at Wacom.com? I couldn't get rotate to work and I reloaded the drivers from there and it fixed it right up.
