    Not sure how I missed this thread but I'm glad I stumbled across it today. I'm a huge fan of fantasy, science fiction, horror, etc in art, literature, movies, TV and whatever...(in fact, those are my areas of specialization as a literary agent) and the works in this thread are a treat.

    This may be cheating, but I'm posting a work I originally put in the general gallery some time ago (in my defense, I've tweaked it somewhat since then). I'd been working on a detailed landscape (which I eventually finished) when I went off on a tangent, adding four female figures (each, hopefully, suggesting the fantastic) who are busily calling a cloud dragon. Fun stuff...

    The first picture has a very Japanese Hungry Ghost feel to it all thoses eyes in the shadows. Shrunkendesigner.

    Flynn, Amazing! I see the long hair and see this is a cape of elaborate design-makes me think of New Orleans. Beautifully drawn and designed!

    Medusa

    Flyn_ the_ Cat, your paintings great.
    I did a Medusa, but my Medusa ia a sort of Vamp as well, so she bites first then turns them to stone.
