My daughter and I are new at this and she wanted to show her work here for feedback but they won't place the thread because there are links to other websites in it, but that is just links to the pictures...... Now what???

Use the IMG tag manually, like so:

[IMG]http://www.website.com/yourimage.jpg[/IMG]

So you manually type in "[IMG]" (no quotes) then the link/address then again "[/IMG]" (no quotes). The link has to be a link to an actual image NOT to a web page or site.

Or use the "Manage Attachments" tab located at the bottom of the post window to upload the images directly to the ArtRage server for storage. As a member of the forums, you also have access to the "Gallery" area, where you may upload and store your images.

Direct linking is disabled to new members in an attempt to keep ad spammers at bay.
