Koi fish stencils

Newbie here, posting stencils for the first time.......
I know I've seen it mentioned that .png files are preferred, but are jpegs still useful? I have several stencils in jpeg that I've created that I'd like to share. Do I need to convert them to .png files to share them here on the forum?

Anyway, the original images for these koi came from Wikicommons. I've had a lot of fun playing with them and hope you all do as well.....
