Hi Forum: I've gotten district approval and will be purchasing ArtRage for my computer art lessons in school.
Does anyone have any experience with lesson plans using Artrage?
I can use anything or offerings or suggestions.
Thanks

I think Cripster may.
I don't have such experience.
But you might just get some lesson plans for any old art projects and it would translate really well into teaching ArtRage. The principles of art are the same seeing as it's meant to work like regular art materials. . .
Although the color mixing is different than regular paints. Certain color mixing produces different resulting color. I forgot which. I think yellow and blue, but don't hold me to that.
Also there are a lot of great tutorials in the "Tips n' Tricks" section of the forum that are specific to this program.
Personally, I think you made a wise choice.
Bartender, fix me a moon river. . .in a TIFFANY GLASS!!!!!!!
I think the first few lessons should be getting them use to the software. This will also develop their hand eye co ordination.
Go through the tools and how they work.
The first pieces will be abstract, using different tools and media.
May be link their first non abstract piece to another subject...history , geography.
They can start by painting/desinging simple things.....like maybe a dreamcatcher.
Later...they can use it to produce eg. native australian art.like the
Artrage member ,Fashmir (i'll post the link)
Set them up with reference images to get ideas from.
As long as you got a goal for the end of the lesson you will be fine.
Good luck
