Abstract flowers

I did this flowers in 30 min., with pastels and chalk and used the knife.
I had no reference image, just an exercise.Free hand.

Dear Dany51, that's a beautiful painting!!! love the style and colors too,, and thanks for the lesson,, have used the color palette a little and maybe with only a few colors, 10 or less, but never thought to use that many colors, makes the painting explode with color! sign me 'old dog'!

Indeed the pallete is big but the colours are few;
personally I feel more comfortable and more free when I have an extended choice of colours (the most of the time I use shades of them but they are a guide close to real pigments (I am used to work with pigments, there are all kind of shades as you know).

Because I can't upload .col files it is a way to share an idea of palettes which I can understand that can be too heavy some time, even for me .

Thank you ScottF, I am in a mood of creating color palettes, in many ways, I am comparing them and thinking about them and the concept of color.
It seems to me to be more a personal problem but not a big one .
