Man, look what I've been missing! Some excellent monsters here... some scary (Enchanter's will give me nightmares o.o) some cute, some both :P I don't have a submission yet, but I know what I want to paint ^^ I'll try to have it done by next week.. but my main reference will be a text description.. so we'll see how it turns out XD
also, to give someone else ideas... I was tempted to do the Jabberwocky (google it, it's a poem :P ) but decided on something else^^
Cookie Monster was an unexpected, but nice addition too ^^ and speaking of Jim Henson, I just made a campus visit yesterday to the college that he graduated from, the University of Maryland 
and near the end of the tour, we had to all go inside, because someone thought they saw a Cougar on the campus XD and then our tour guide left and never came back... kind of like a monster movie O.o lol
And last but not least, welcome to the community Arkadiy I liked your monsters too :P I'm seeing improvement between your first monster here and your second already ^^ you'll be pro in no time! I'm kind of a beginner too. I recently found a way to paint that completely changed the look of my stuff. Try new things, and you'll find new tricks that work well

I'll get it done one of these days... I was going to paint the Leviathan from the book of Job in the Old Testament of the Bible, based only on the biblical description, but sometime near the end I realized I had taken parts of the Behemoth description and mistaken it for Leviathan
