What caught my eye in this one was the way the texture at the top where the paint remains thick seems to imply clouds. I think the metallics you used look great too, they give it a sheen that looks good with the blend of colours in the sky.

I've been intentionally remiss in weighing in on this one because I really felt the need to marshall my thoughts. That said, I'm still somewhat at a loss to convey the impact this has for me. I think that that's because it's, at once, deceptively simple and subtly elegant. To me it's an impressive blend of both an almost child-like innocence of perception, and a mature and intuitive grasp of impressionism. I'm no D Akey so I can only hope that what I've said makes some kind of sense. At any rate, wonderful job on this W2P.
