Lion in progress

Started on a human face,
but then ..
I went on creating a sort of lion's face.

not done yet.
but I'm quite happy with the result till now.

Interesting progress. The eyes are startling--almost seems like a human peering through a lion mask.

You have an intersting way of starting the painting off. Thinking of The Lion King a little, maybe? This reminds me of Scar.

May have started as a human who became a lion. But the lion's face is reversing itself back to a human. I get there is a push pull going on with this one. Has an enchanted quality. Though, like the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, perhaps there is something for this lion to work out before he becomes a human.

Those bloodshot eyes, eh? Wanting to shine and working really hard for it too.
