ArtRage doesn't adjust your image, but it will use the fullsized image for the 100% brush size. This means that if you import two different head images, they will be two different sizes at 100%, and...
Haha, yeah, that does seem to be a recurring annoyance. It may be something we can tweak, we just have to find the right balance between 'annoying popup' and 'steady stream of emails to support about...
The Watercolor doesn't have antialiasing so if you draw a thin solid line on dry paper then the lack of pressure/wetness means that the edges of the lines don't flow out and create a smooth edge, so...

Yes, nobody else is here, continue...
There are a few ways to do this, depending on exactly what you want, what image you are working with, and what version of ArtRage you are using.
1) Selection tool.
The Selection tool offers...
Bump blend mode affects the paint texture (the height of the paint is the 'bump') so you can control whether the paint strokes below show through or not. See this page for examples:...
Unfortunately, ArtRage can't do anything 'outside' the app, but you can bring those images into the app as references and pick colours from them that way.
You can't make a custom brush that will actually squiggle automatically in the iPad app, but you can get a stroke that works like a ballpoint pen so you can draw your own squiggles.
Pick the Ink...
There isn't a built in grid, but you can import one as a tracing image or paint layer if that helps?
Press and hold on the current colour in the bottom right corner. This used to bring up a small menu, now it brings up a full menu of all the different options.
The presets were moved into the Settings menu for space reasons (they now match the iPad app). It's an extra click, but it means we aren't squishing as many tiny icons in on phones. So everything is...
Are you trying to use the Watercolors or just anything that will give you a background gradient?
If you do not care what tool you use, the oil brush or the paint roller are probably the easiest....
Can you open Set Stylus Properties (from the menu in the top of the Settings panel) and see what 'Tilt Angle' is set to? Is 'Invert' ticked?
Oh good, I am glad that is solved!
Are the black squares from paintings with transparent backgrounds? Sometimes transparent PNGs show up as black.
If not, is it always the same paintings? Or does it change?
It sounds like you are doing everything correctly. The painting you see when you play it back is already a new file, so it doesn't matter how to save it.
Watch this video (from 11.50) as the...
Good luck! If you need more help, I can find you a video about using scripts.
I've also deleted your other post, to avoid confusion :)
Definitely weeks ;) I'd give you a date, but if I do that, we'll find a new problem and have to change it at the last minute.
Hi Heddy,
You should be able to save your work at different sizes by:
1) Loading the script.
2) Change the width and height (screen size is easiest, just change the % to 200% or something like...
This is a known problem with the latest Note 8 update, and we are working on a fix for it as fast as possible. Our next update is a pretty big one, so we are having to test it carefully, but we hope...
It sounds like a bug. What iOS version is your device up to right now? Also, do you have the latest update of the app?
Can you email us the script at [email protected]? Zip it (compressed) it to make it smaller (not really needed in this case, but in case you have a larger one).
Ok, apparently I'm wrong and this isn't a bug - or at least, it's not a fixable one. Because Lock Transparency doesn't allow the paint to be changed (other than new paint or erasing), it has to add...
Yes, you can.
First you need to find the preset on your Toshiba. Select the tool. Open the Presets > top right menu arrow > Tool Presets folder. Find the INK.prs file and copy it to the Lenovo.
