Hi and thanks for the guidance. However, this is not an Artrage portrait. Its a pencil drawing done on paper and I was getting really confused lol about what to post where. I realise this site is for...
Thank you Bumble, the photographs are lovely.
Brilliant, can't wait to try these out. Thank you.
Sorry HannahRage, its been a little while since I've been here. I was just passing time last night doing a little painting. I had a tracing image up which i was following in the hope of understanding...
i am trying to paint a portrait and have a ref photo up. i set up the grid for both canvas and ref and thought i could use grid as a guide but the canvas and ref grids are not exactly the same? am i...
Hello HannahRage. Thanks for responding. There are no other apps open whilst i am using Artrage. The app is up to date as is the ipad. Yes, i suppose the image could be quite complicated with...
Artrage seems to be crashing an awful lot recently. I tried it with the save prompt off but it was just as bad. At the point that it crashes the colour picker appears even whilst i am using the oil...

Very realistic and lovely. I would hang this on my wall and just sit and gaze at it.
A lovely painting. As i am new to drawing and painting i use references so that i can understand shapes and light and shadow. If i find an image particularly difficult i will trace a little to get...
Beautiful.

Love it. Very atmospheric and the colours are great
I hope this works as this if the first time I have tried this. It is the range of extra fine oils from Sennelier. The link is below:
