Thanks, Caesar!
Thank you for the new link!
I've been trying to keep my spirits up with art. Things were kinda rough for a couple of weeks but during that time I played with pastels in ArtRage and drew a bunny under bluebells:

The link doesn't work :(
You followed D Akey's great suggestions very well!
Something I saw somewhere about portraying depth—ah, it's from Alphonso Dunn, who specializes in pen, ink, and watercolor, but has great tips. 6...
Man, these past few weeks, am I right?
I have more art.

It's... kind of gouache? This is the first time I've done anything where line art was not a part of the final product.

I've been very sick, because chronic illness is terrible and this election is making it worse. I believe this election is having a psychological impact on everybody, and so I have been spending much...
I love the faded look of the watercolor and the arrangement of this composition. The photograph, the watercolor page, the desk...

My apologies.
On topic, is...
Two main projects to switch between as I work on detail and color. Right now both are in very rough sketch phases.

I love my artist pen set from Faber-Castell, and decided to replicate it for ArtRage.

The amount of detail here definitely adds interest, and I agree about the reflections—they are superb. The muted color palette is interested—the subjects (boats, dock, etc) are muted to a sort of...
Funny and relatable. :D
I love the art style, and the tip of his knight helm pointing above and out of the panel, rather than being cropped, just adds something nice.
Very nice! Masterful brush stroke work, wonderful.
That is a brilliant use of a texture for an illustration. Bravo!
(Is the series very violent? Strange often is accompanied with violent these days, where series are concerned.)
Wow, very nice!
Among other things (like color palette!) I admire how fuzzy the bluebird is. Just the texture is very clearly a feather-fuzz rather than a fur-fuzz or even downy-fuzz.
Ah ok. ^_^ Thanks for the clarification!
I saw this picture a while back but didn't have a forum account or ArtRage at the time, but your screenshot is one of the reasons I went ahead and bought ArtRage.
Your progress on the page looks...
Well, you're right, I guess it is pretty ugly and I should be ashamed to have posted it.
Edit - Actually, now that I think about it, I think this is a result of me using pen and ink as a shortcut...
