Live color sampling from Tracing image

Scripting question:

I was wondering if it would be possible to run a script that paints from the scripts chosen tool into the current painting and samples the paint color from the current tracing image.

When I run a script and change "Script Feature Flag" to 0x000000000

That way it runs in current file but the sample colors come from when the script was recorded not live from the current file.

I want to create different background or underpaintings that uses the exact same painting process (stroke by stroke) but using different tracing images as source colors.

If this feature is not possible would it be possible to add as a feature request?

Unfortunately this isn't possible at the moment, although it would definitely be useful. I'm not sure if it is something scripts can support, but it will be considered!

Thank you for letting me know as well as considering some way to change the recording process to include the togel option (I am guessing that would be the only way) from saving each color into the script and instede having a "varable" in the code that would when run sample the color(s) live.
