Sticky color Picker

Samsung S7 tablet. ArtRage Vitae
When the point and hold color picker is activated, each of the following often occurs
1) The color pick symbol stays visible for several seconds after a color has been selected
2) The color picker will appear repeatedly.
It seems that the picker should appear only after a 1/2 - 3/4 second delay, possibly user adjustable

Galaxy Note 9.

I just upgraded to Vitae and get the same issue. Would like a fix as it severely disrupts work flow.

Tab s8 ultra same

Is there a version that fixes this bug?
