Storming walls of endless grey

Ok this is definitely a work in progress and will probably stay so for a very long time as i am really pushing my abilities here. :-) But hopefully there is enough to get the gist of what i held in my imagination and what i was aiming for.

Based on the following short poem:

Shadows marching through the day
storming walls of endless grey
on they march into the fray
counting steps towards their grave
ghostly whispers with nothing to say
round and round the same old way
shadows marching through the day
storming walls of endless grey
this is how they spend their day
this is how they spend their day!

Cheery yeah? lolol :-)


Maybe one of the so many very talented artists on this forum good produce it as it should be. Just a thought.

Hi Rik. I played with it a little ... upped the gamma and saturation in Irfanview ... it is a little hard to make out. But, your call. It's a very interpretive piece. Oh, by the way, I really like it. :)
