Palette Knife/brush lock

The Palette Knife and Brush shapes are angular, but automatically turn perpendicular to your brush stroke. It would be nice to lock the angle on the brush tip shape to get a more "calligraphic" stroke, like by holding down the control key or something like that.

I'm not sure if my description of the desired feature is easily understood, but please let me know if something like this already exists!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Have a variable aspect on the tools, lock rotation (or tie rotation to stylus angle), and you have a brush that varies width based on direction.

Perhaps we could just add a 'chisel tip' option to the pen tool.
