This is very cool.
I don't think as it is whether it could technically be called surrealism. This is merely stylized -- nicely stylized, but it's only a visual change in how you make a hill.
Were the hills something else that would not be in that context, then it would be more in keeping with that movement. Like if the hills were coils on a python, it breasts or clocks, that might be more in keeping with the intention.
It's to jar you sense of reality in order to pull yourself out of the deadness of supposition that what you are looking at is the same, the same, the same. They want you to re-experience what you are looking at in order to liven up your perceptions.
And sometimes they chose their elements in order to make a point between their relationship, sometimes it was only unrelated stuff that was assembled for the heck of it.
Keep going. I like what you're doing. Only the label is what I'm talking about.

That's a really nice look. Quite a subtle use for the metallics I think!
Very soothing and unique style. Nice painting. I like it. :)
