Alright, since I have made that 30min landscape, I felt like continuing with it. So now I'm doing just that and - look at that - here's a WIP thread! :)
This was the image after 30min...
Here's after 20 more minutes, adding a few more details and additional hills...
And another 20 minutes, adding trees...

wow, i never thought it would take that long to make a tree, hehe...but I spend almost an hour working on that foreground tree. Yet, i'm not even sure if I like it that much.
Anyway, AndyRage gave me this fantastic tip on how to stipple with the brush and I went into a stipple frenzy! :lol:

Alright, I had another chance to go at it and think I've finished it up.
2 steps, I've done the rare thing of sketching outlines for the final foreground element:
And it took roughly 40 minutes to fill'em out...not so sure about the way it looks, but well...:

Just looked at it again and did some minor touches... so now it's officially been 3h...

I can't believe I still can't stop dinking with it... I just didn't like the feel of the dragon... went over it real quick more radically...
