Knif mixing bug?

Due to my bad english i cant explain, so i make a picture with a few comentaries, hope its help to understand what i try to say lol :lol:

Its not really a bug - that's just the way the ArtRage technology works.
When the palette knife goes over the wet paint, it starts putting down wet paint overtop the dry paint. As soon as it does that, ALL the paint under the wet paint becomes wet as well, and can therefore be smeared as well.

If you need to be smearing wet paint above dry paint, use another layer.
