Hi Felfish - welcome to the forum.

That's a very cool picture. Good use of the roller, contrasting nicely with the fine pencil of the face. The hair is cool too.

I enjoy this kind of simplicity. It is bold and can be viewed very large on expansive walls. I would love to see this one as a giclee print on textured paper.

thank you for the comments Andy, sbug, Fashmir-
i woke up today and looked at the red one again and decided to re-crop it. it was a bit wonky looking to me today- but i never notice these things unless i step away then come back. so here is a re-crop, and added another one i did afterwards.

Fashmir- yes, i would love to print some pieces i made- tho i never have. i'm under the impression i would have to work at a really large resolution, and i've not tried that yet with AR. i'm used to just making a screen size canvas painting on it then cropping. i guess it's not hard to make a 5000 x 3500 canvas and see how a 100 size roller will be on it  i suppose all i'm really concerned about is loosing the fat roller effect when working on massive canvas dimensions for print resolution.

pt2a is also very cool. You have a great style. The foreshortening is very cool too.

I'm loving the second one even more for it's spunky personality and again I love the texture of the roller. Unfortunately because the tools are percentages of an arbitrary size and not pixel referenced you can only go so large and have the same effect. If you go 5000 x 3500 your roller is going to be quite small. On the other hand even if you *could* make the roller size match proportionately, you would have a very slow tool on your hands. I guess we need faster hardware.
