Cherry Blossom Fairy

Hi everyone, I'm a recent convert to ArtRage and thought I'd post my first attempt here. Not only my first pic done with AR, but my first oil-style painting of any kind (I've only just moved over from regular cg art), and my first one done with a tablet, thanks to my girlfriend sneaking an intuos into my rather boxy-shaped stocking this xmas :D

Blimey, you've definitely entered the forums with a stunning first work!
The way you've mixed an anime-style illustration with softer and fuller colouring and texturing makes a very compelling work.

I look forward to seeing more from you! If that was effort number 1, getting used to the tools and the way they work, then effort number two should be a grand masterwork! ;)
