View Full Version : The Harvest
After three weeks, it is finally done.. I think I became a bit sloppy in the last few days.. Maybe someday I will go back over it and make some corrections.. Hope y'all like it..

I love the reflections in the glass, and the fields in the background. I wish there were more shadows cast to be honest but I love the mood of the painting.

This is just stunning, Rick....I simply love the level of detail and the time and effort that you put into each of your paintings. I am a true fan of your painting style.
P.S. I didn't notice one pixel of sloppiness in this painting...you just need to wipe the sleep out of your eyes!!!!

Wow Rick! Stunning.
If you became sloppy in the end I cannot detect it.
You want to see sloppy, go look at most of mine, you have great reason to be proud of this one!
Dear Rick your realism is unparalleled beauty. The mirrored glass of wine in the bottle is simply stunning. Looks like a sunny late afternoon in a vineyard, offering everyone with a happy new year. Happy New Year to you too Rick. :)

TASER stunning!
Gorgeous Rick, glasswork is extremely well rendered especially in the stems of the glasses. Absolutely love the warm colour palette in this piece :)
Excellent one, Rick. Haven't seen your painting for awhile. You still are the master of painting the wine bottle and glass. The first feeling right away is exactly how you titled it. That autumn color palette is so beautiful as well as I really like the background composition. Great masterpiece again. :)
