I saw skylars painting and I think his style is amazing. I decided to do one more piece to replicate his style in my own if you know what I mean. I use no canvas texture, or brush shaders as usual =P

Excellent lighting and staging!!!! Has a vastness like Parish and Monet, only with a more Hudson Valley spin. Great stuff! Really excellent composition. :):):):):)

Your leaving here is a loss,--working ( or schooling in order to work)is overrated, but the money part I suppose is a necessary evil, too bad AR3 does not pay the bills, you would be a top earner! Great painting.

DV, I think you've just knocked my socks off with this painting! I am so glad that Skylar has inspired your inner artistic creativity! He's another artist like you to be reckoned with and I am so glad you're part of this ArtRage family and forum.

DigiVis - Trust me, you don't need to emulate anyone else. You have it.
It's happy to see you decide to show us more your great piece. Just like this one. Like that open space view scene. Feel the freedom of it. Beautiful and excellent painted as usual. :)

Try to follow your instructions with your own landscape reference. I select canvas with paper grain "Fine Paper" and set the Metallic, Roughness and Grain Size to 0.
I begin with one layer with a rough sketch and then I begin to colorize from the original from DV.
I post the first step. Tomorrow I continue... :)

Your sense of color shift as you attenuate shade is exquisite. I really feel the presence of a large valley before me.
