Hi folks,
I'm just getting into this digital art thing after years of saying 'bah!'
I usually use ink and paper, and avoid colour like the plague. However, I'm keen to use technology to improve, so I'd be very grateful if anyone can tell me the best way to do the following:
1) Scan in my b&w art such that the ink lines are solid, but the paper remains completely transparent
2) Add a colour layer BELOW the b&w lines so that the lines always remain on top, so I don't have to worry about destroying the actual detail with an errant swipe of a brush!
If there's a tutorial or something I should check out elsewhere, then I'd be delighted to know!
