I fond this quiz interesting. Why? I don't know...it's always fun to find out something about yourself. This quiz told me that my left brain was slightly dominate.

this quiz said that my right brain is strongly dominant (80%)

this should be good in painting... but not in the real life

The whole left brain = artistic and right brain = logic (or is it the other way around?) myth has been thoroughly and convincingly debunked in neurological circles over the past few years due to new research. But the test was fun anyways in the same way my wife always wants to read me my horoscope. 50/50.

aha! I didn't know that Davey. The whole right brain, left brain thing made me always fear I wouldn't be in my right mind.

Your score is 80%. Your right brain is strongly dominant

Right Brain Inventory
• Visual, focusing on images, patterns
• Intuitive, led by feelings
• Process ideas simultaneously
• 'Mind photos' used to remember things, writing things down or illustrating them helps you remember
• Make lateral connections from information
• See the whole first, then the details
• Organisation ends to be lacking
• Free association
• Like to know why you're doing something or why rules exist (reasons)
• No sense of time
• May have trouble with spelling and finding words to express yourself
• Enjoy touching and feeling actual objects (sensory input)
• Trouble prioritising, so often late, impulsive
• Unlikely to read instruction manual before trying
• Listen to how something is being said
• Talk with your hands
• Likely to think you're naturally creative, but need to apply yourself to develop your potential

Left Brain Inventory
• Verbal, focusing on words, symbols, numbers
• Analytical, led by logic
• Process ideas sequentially, step by step
Words used to remember things, remember names rather than faces
• Make logical deductions from information
• Work up to the whole step by step, focusing on details, information organised
• Highly organised
• Like making lists and planning
• Likely to follow rules without questioning them
• Good at keeping track of time
• Spelling and mathematical formula easily memorised
• Enjoy observing
• Plan ahead
• Likely read an instruction manual before trying
• Listen to what is being said
• Rarely use gestures when talking
• Likely to believe you're not creative, need to be willing to try and take risks to develop your potential

Science may debunk it, but its still fun!

from the wikipedia
The human brain is separated by a longitudinal fissure, separating the brain into two distinct cerebral hemispheres. The two sides of the brain are similar in appearance, and every structure in each hemisphere is mirrored on the other side, yet despite these gross similarities, the functions of each cortical hemisphere are different. Human neocortex--the outer, visible portions of the brain--is the source of all cognitive, sensory, linguistic, voluntary movement, and attentive processes. These higher-level functions--as opposed to reflexes, posture maintenance, etc.--seem to preferentially exist in one half of the brain or the other. Deeper (subcortical) structures such as the basal ganglia and thalami seem to play the same role on each side of the brain, regardless of their hemisphere.

It is important to note that--while functions are indeed lateralized--these lateralizations are trends and do not apply to every person in every case. Short of having undergone a hemispherectomy (the removal of an entire cerebral hemisphere) there are no "left-brained" or "right-brained" people.
I had to read up on it.

You answered 12 items out of 20 as right brained.

Your score is 60%. Your right brain is slightly dominant.

seems okay...
I realized I can "choose" whether I'd like to answer after have carefully thought or if I prefer talk with my feelings ... It depends on the situation... I must admit that the right brain is more fun. But I also like being very precise and I learned to draw with my left brain also... It's not fun and it is real work but the rewrds are so great.

Well...
I didn't know these were simply right and left brain differences.
This test made my day :)

Hello everyone- check into Neurodevelopmentalist's therapy- there are so many out there that are mixed dominance-myself, husband, and children-also check out Leonardo and his research-he was able to paint and draw with both hands after doing various neurological exercises to regain his fine motor control. It is extremely important to cross pattern to remain focused and organized. It is not helpful to be mixed dominant-and cross patterning is extremely beneficial. The brain is plastic.

75% right brained, though I'd say thats too low for me. I scored left brained on not using a creditcard but I do spend easily
I am about as good with either hand playing pool/snooker though.

Cats & Dogs, I went for dogs but there aint much in it. Though I'd prefer a monkey or an ape 8)

Some studys suggested that alot of stutterers are left handers forced into right handedness.
