In Artrage2, can you tell me how can I know, verify which file I use, when I paint. It seems that the function disappeared since version 1.

Hi Weeks,

There's currently no way to verify that after you have loaded it. However, I've noted that and we plan to make a change to ArtRage 2 which will allow you to see the filename in the titlebar ( if windowed ) and the taskbar.

I agree that identifying the currently open file would certainly be a welcome enhancement, but instead of keeping several versions of a file on your hard drive, have you considered using asset management software? I use Alienbrain (http://www.alienbrain.com), and it has been invaluable; I only ever need to keep one version of a file, I don't need to worry about coming up with new file naming conventions to keep track of all the versions, and I save on disk space. There are plenty of alternatives, but I liked that one the best. Just thought I'd share.
