This is a fictitious place.
Originally done in painter, I just worked fast and loose, then I brought it into ArtRage and enhanced it quite a bit. I hope you like it.

jibes,
A really nice painting of a rural, expansive setting. Have seen many
colorful, rustic scenes such as this when I was growing up. :)

A very cool approach. Evokes a magical toyland feel for me. :)

Love the palette of this one, your buildings are good, like the tree in the middle. Nice painting.

Your bridge looks so much like the bridge we had in our area known as High Falls. After the blizzard of 93 we had a major flood. It destroyed our old bridge, and sadly they never rebuilt it. It is a beautiful old area where native americans lived and near the oldest state park in the US known as Indian Springs. Anyway, I really love old bridges, and I think you made a beautiful painting here.:)

Thanks Alexandra. I know what you mean and it's a shame that landmarks like yours are gone. This painting is purely fictional but it's probably a composite of many places I've seen. It does my heart good to know it reminds you of something though.
Thanks to you AT-TA and FireFytingNut as well.
